The Marumi Magnetic Slim Black Mist is a cinematic look-producing effect filter in combination with the other magnetic slim filters. An ultra-slim single frame without a male thread structure enables to minimize the possibility of vignetting.

• The particle in the filter diffuses high light/point light vaguely to soften the image
• Producing cinematic look by reducing sharpness slightly while maintaining overall resolution.
• Mildens the contrast of shadows and softens and diffuses highlights and point light sources. (1/4 effect is stronger than that of 1/8)
• Slimmed by the thickness of male thread compared to conventional screw-in types of filters, which vastly reduces the possibility of vignetting, especially with a wide-angle lens and/or using multiple stacks of filters.
• Adopts A6063 aluminum alloy frame that features high strength and excellent corrosion resistance
• A permanent magnet with a strong magnetic force
• Water-/Oil repellent coating shed water off simply also by the air blower. Nuisances such as sweat, skin crème, lotion, fingerprint, or compounded grease stains will be wiped off.
• 67/77/82mm available. Other sizes are also attachable by sandwiching step rings.
